The left is out of ideas, and the right never really had any.

This is not the blog of a whiny, masturbatory (well), child who thinks being committed to strong beliefs is inherently foolish. This is not the kind of centrism that sneers at people for caring, and that believes anyone who isn’t a smug nihilist is intellectually inferior. Neither is this a blog that is likely to declare “Everyone has good points man, maybe we’re all kinda right” before taking another bong hit.

This is the blog of an idealistic, bleeding heart centrist. The centrism of Henry George and Pierre Proudhon. This blog is not in the centre because it seeks to bridge the divide between left and right, it is in the centre because it is dismayed by both left and right equally, and wishes to occupy the ground farthest away from both. This is the radical center.
